What is Nasonex? (Mometasone Furoate Monohydrate)
Mometasone (known by its branded equivalent, Nasonex) nasal spray is used to ease nasal symptoms caused by both seasonal allergic rihinitis (hay fever) and year-round allergic rhinitis.
Mometasone nasal spray helps to treat nasal allergy symptoms associated with hay fever for adults and children 12 years and older. It is a non-drowsy medication that is both scent-free and alcohol-free.
How the medication works
Mometasone belongs to a group of medicines known as corticosteroids. These medicines work by actively reducing inflammation and swelling in order to relieve the symptoms associated with hay fever, such as itchy eyes and nose, sneezing and congestion.
It is recommended that you start applying the nasal spray in advance of the pollen season and continue to use it throughout and is also worth noting that the nasal spray can take a few days to have its full effect.
How to use
To treat allergies such as hay fever, adults and children aged 12 years and over should use two sprays in each nostril once a day. Once the symptoms are under control, the dosage can reduced to one spray in each nostril per day.

Private prescription medicines are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery free of charge (all private prescription items have a minimum order value of £5.00).
NHS prescription medicines are sent by Royal Mail Signed
Normal delivery charges will apply for non-prescription items in the same basket.
Returns
